Water should go where you want it
Every fall, leaves and seeds pile into gutters and downspouts. Once they clog, rain spills over the edge, runs down the siding, and pools along the foundation and walkways. That is how a lot of the green streaks and stained concrete you see on this site get started.
We clear the gutters, make sure the downspouts are flowing, and bag up what comes out. You will not find a pile of wet leaves in your flower beds when we leave.
